Month activities kick off Wednesday on Disability 25 with a Walk-raising and information on the various disabled groups will report on urban accessibility problems found during the day to day. This is an initiative to give a direct message to the public awareness and, moreover, will also have a purely symbolic aspect is to "fine" people with their actions, consciously or unconsciously, hinder the mobility of people with disabilities. These fines, which are completely fictional, will help make more visible the bad practices of some people who park to a pedestrian crossing or on the sidewalk. This year, as new, the groups that participate in the Walk to raise awareness placed stickers with the international symbol of disability in those establishments that are adapted.

The other highlight of the program event is to celebrate the Fourth of Adapted Sports Day, which this year will feature a logo designed by Rafael Torres Gascó, one of the users of IVADIS. The call for a competition to design the logo has been an initiative to involve more than users of disabled facilities at the conclusion of the day.

The Fourth of Adapted Sports Day is scheduled for Thursday, May 26, from 11 to 17 hours. Throughout the whole morning, will be the practical part of the Day, with all kinds of sports, from tennis, football, basketball, sports or domino circuits. The official opening will be at 11.00 until 13.00 and sports exhibition will be open to the public to bring the sport adapted to the public. Adapted Sports Day will also serve as the day of coexistence among all participants.

Sports Day will be preceded by the Second Technical Seminar of adapted sports, for persons with disabilities, but also to all social organizations and sports Benicarló, in order that from all entities (and not just working with people disabilities) will work for sports integration of persons with disabilities. This technical conference will be held on May 25 at 18:30 pm in the auditorium of the mucB and go by Esther Santos, head of the club Bamesa (Baix Maestrat Adapted Sports). The central theme of the day will be voluntary, without which there can be adapted to sport.

This year, in addition to all activities, will open a photographic exhibition of didactic aimed at students in grades 5 and 6 of primary schools in Benicarlo. The theme of the exhibition is "Disability is no barrier" and will be open from 26 May to 5 June to mucB.
